WAN-IFRA Media Policy Team
Elena Perotti is Executive Director of Media Policy and Public Affairs at WAN-IFRA, the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers. She is responsible for identifying and studying major public affairs issues within the news industry, authoring reports and articles, animating debate on social media, and educating staff and stakeholders. Elena is also in charge of interaction and liaison with WAN-IFRA’s governing boards, national and regional member associations, and with many international bodies. She holds a Masters of Law in International Law and is experienced in media policy, senior management, global event organisation, and public relations. elena.perotti@wan-ifra.org
Giovanni De Gregorio is a legal researcher at WAN-IFRA, the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers, and a PhD Candidate in Public Law, University of Milano-Bicocca. He graduated at Bocconi University in 2016 with a dissertation about the European Digital Single Market Strategy and he has attended courses at national and international level such as the Cyberlaw course at the London School of Economics. Giovanni regularly publishes articles in medialaws.eu and other legal reviews whose focus is related to law and new technologies. His research interests are Constitutional Law, EU law, IT and IP law.
